Tablet Computer or simply called tablet , is a computer that has a touch screen with either stylus , digital pen or your finger for all operations eventually eliminating your standard keyboard. Tablet PCs have changed the way we do business, the way we use computers.Tablets are the future of Computing.

Tablet PCs have evolved with a need of having a simpler user interaction , so that a non-technical person can also use it with his fingers. Its a very handy and mobile device.According to "OLPC - One Laptop per Child" a non-profit US organization , a cost-effective laptop for each child would be created. The laptop would be a low power device with internet connectivity. Costing would be approximately $100. OLPC is funded by member organizations like AMD , ebay , Google , Marvell , Red Hat and News Corporation.Here's a simple design for a low cost tablet.

Apple's introduction of the iPad in January 2010 signaled a transition from these earlier tablets.[2]
