  New Samsung 9 Series Thin and Light Laptop: Recently, Samsung has released the new 9 Series thin and light laptops with the Intel Sandy Bridge processor, the Samsung 9 Series laptop has a 13.3-inch LED-backlight display (resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels), a 1.4GHz Intel Core i5-2537M dual-core ULV processor, Intel HD GT2 integrated graphics, 4GB of DDR3 memory, 128GB solid state drive and stereo speakers, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, WiMax, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 3.0 as well as pre-installed with the Windows 7 Home Premium OS.   Samsung NC10 La Fleur: Mini Laptop for Women

  Samsung company has recently released mini laptop – NC10 La Fleur. As with other gadgets from the line, this novelty is designed for women. Design encompasses miniature size and distinctive ornament in glossy black and white body.

  

  
  Samsung NC10 is powered by Intel Atom Processor with Windows XP Home operating system and features 10.2 inch display with 1024х600 resolution, up to 160GB HDD, WiFi, Bluetooth, 10/100 Ethernet LAN and three USB ports. It also features 6 cell battery with 8 hours of autonomous work. The laptop weighs no more than 3 pounds.

  

  Samsung says their new laptop would be great choice for women who see gadgets as part of image.   Samsung SF, QX, RF and NF laptops launched

  Samsung has released a slew of new laptops which range from small netbooks to large laptops meant to replace desktops at the IFA.

  The laptops would be available in October or November, said the company.

  Samsung has had a major presence at this year’s IFA with its Galaxy Tab Android tablet attracting a lot of attention as a potential iPad competitor. Laptops are obviously less sexy than Android tablets when it comes to gadgets, hence they were noticed much.

  Samsung QX410 laptop

  Samsung’s QX series are fully powered laptops. The Samsung QX410 is about an inch thick. It has a 14 inch screen with LED backlighting that can give resolutions of up to 1366×768 pixels. The Samsung QX410 displays 720p HD video and comes with an all in one touchpad. The machine also has a gesture pad so that some functions can be controlled by gestures.

  QX410 runs an Intel core i5 processor, has 4GB of DDR3 memory and an Nvidia GeForce 310M 512MB graphics card with Optimus automatic graphics switching technology which uses a discrete-graphics card for games video etc and a low powered graphics card for tasks that aren’t graphics intensive. Samsung’s QX410 has the Samsung True2Surround sound system with 3W stereo speakers and SRS premium sound processing technology.

  The QX410 has about 640GB of memory. It is said to provide 7 hours of battery life, and its new lithium polymer battery cannot be removed, although Samsung says the battery lasts for around 3,000 charge cycles, which is double the laptop battery average.

  The Samsung QX410 includes 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet and WiMax, and is priced around $900.

  Samsung SF310 and 210 netbook series

  Samsung’s SF series netbooks fall between traditional laptops and netbooks.

  The SF310 is a ten inch netbook with a chiclet kepyboard. It runs a dual core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 processor, with 1GB of DDR3 memory and an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card. The Samsung SF310 has a 66WH battery that the company says lasts for up to ten hours. The SF310 is priced around $400.

  Samsung’s SF210 is similar to the SF310, but runs a single core Intel Atom N455 processor.

  The third netbook in Samsung’s SF range is the SF510, which is to compete with the Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 and Acer Aspire TimelineX AS5820T, both of which are 15 inch devices that run on a core i3 processor and integrated graphics card. Samsung’s SF510 is priced  around $750.

  Samsung’s RF laptops are large sized, and are possibly meant to replace the desktop.

  The Samsung RF510 has a 15 inch screen, and the RF710 has a 17 inch screen.

  The RF510 runs an Intel core i5 processor and Nvidia GeForce 330M graphics. It has a 500GB hard drive

  The Samsung RF710 has a Blu-ray drive, a second drive slot, and runs an Intel quad-core processor. It has 640GB of hard drive space. The RF710 is priced around $1,030, while the RF510 will start at $850.

  Samsung NF 310, 210 and 110 netbooks

  The NF310 offers the highest specifications in this series. It features a HD LED display, and surround sound sound system. Powered by the Intel Atom N550 dual core processor and DDR3 RAM, it runs Windows 7 OS. The Samsung NF310 is priced around $430 in US. The NF210 and NF110  are lower-specced netbooks. The NF110 is meant for the European market and would not come to US. The NF210 has a starting price of $210. The NF110 might make it to price sensitive markets in Asia, however.

  Special features of Samsung laptops

  Samsung’s AllShare and Easy File Share features are embedded in all its new, feature rich products including smartphones, tablets, netbooks, laptops etc.

  Easy File Share feature is a peer-to-peer file sharing tool. It allows users to trade files including pictures, video and music files over WiFi; While the Samsung AllShare is for sending multimedia content over WiFi to an HDTV or mobile phone.

  Another Samsung feature, Fast Start, is to save energy while the device is not being used, and is included in most Samsung laptops.
